The Stansted Park Foundation
The Stansted Park Foundation is an independent Charitable Trust responsible for the preservation and conservation of our treasured Grade I and II* listed heritage buildings and 2000 acres of surrounding ancient parkland and forest for the benefit of all.​

As a charity, we pride ourselves on our sustainable stewardship of the natural environment and the level of access and freedom enjoyed by those who come here. We are a welcoming Estate providing a haven of tranquillity, recreational facilities and amenities which nurture a feeling of well-being and a sense of community as soon as you enter the Estate

Our goal is to revive the sanctity of the British country estate and as such our charitable mission is to be conservation minded, financially resilient and community driven.

Commemorative Giving
It fills us with joy to know how many people feel a deep love and affection for Stansted Park. It is wonderful to hear all your stories of generations of families walking their dogs in the Forest, enjoying a cup of tea and celebrating milestones at the House or in the grounds.
If you or your family member has loved visiting Stansted Park and its glorious setting, there is no better way to show your appreciation then by leaving a legacy. All gifts are dedicated to preserving the unique atmosphere and ambience of this very special place in the forest.

Donations in memory or leaving a gift in your will is a wonderful way to celebrate yours or your loved one's life and passions.
Your gift will be remembered in a special memorial book, where we can record your dedication to your loved one and include your personal message. This book is available for you to view on request, or it is often on display in the Roberte and Mary Bessborough Room in Stansted House.
Friends and family sometimes like to have the option of giving a donation gift to a charity at a funeral or memorial service. Funeral directors can arrange this for you and send your kind donations to us. We are extremely grateful to everyone who remembers their loved one with a gift to the Stansted Park Foundation in this way.
