Imagine being invited to a mysterious Country Estate by an enigmatic host… with a room of curious guests your host never appears… the clock is ticking, and you must work as a team to investigate what happened.

Well, that is exactly what will happen when you join Torchlight Mysteries for a truly immersive Murder Mystery at Stansted House.

It is October 1936 and Robert Black has invited his troublesome family to his home for a special announcement. Guaranteed to be there is his second wife Ruby Black, and likely her aspirational yet somewhat impetuous brother, Mulberry Calloway. His greedy children are bound to make an appearance; the flamboyant if a little rude daughter, Olive and her reserved and socially awkward brother, Navy and his unassuming & all-caring wife Lace. Finally to make an appearance is his estranged brother and uncle to the two children, Ecru Black. All-in-all this might be more than just a family squabble.

Behind all the facades are dark secrets and everyone is not quite as they appear. You will be tasked to interrogate the suspects in the magnificent setting of Stansted House and find out which of the guests, could be capable of murder.

Arrive in your finest for the 1930s cocktail soiree, with bubbles and canapés... but someone will not make it to a second round of drinks. As the sound of Jazz fills the air you realise your host has disappeared and you will have one hour to find out what happened before the police turn up. Will you be able to solve this baffling case in time? Worse still will the champagne run out?

Use your best sleuthing skills to piece together the trail of clues as you make your way around the House, and after you have interrogated the suspects, you must reach your conclusion as tea and coffee are served.

DRESS & ATTIRE

The period is 1930s and also Halloween, we encourage everyone to enter into the spirit of the night by dressing appropriately (but not compulsory).
